Responsibilities for Chief Financial Officer
- Lead financial operations and management of the health center, working with staff and executive leaders to ensure proper stewardship of resources
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and processes in order to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Establish and maintain banking relationships and other financial services
- Develop and manage annual budget and long-term strategic financial plans
- Oversee investments and cash reserves
- Manage audit and tax processes, providing reports and analysis to senior management
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to participants, medical staff, and employees
Qualifications for Chief Financial Officer
- 10+ years’ financial management experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superb judgment, problem-solving, and cognitive skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior leadership skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA/CMA certification preferred
